a Stroll, a Song, a Doubt, an Echo since November 2021, on demand  A 25’ amble through each other. The dance is a medium to taste what surrounds it. One of the figures I tell when hosting the Dance of Companionship is that of the emancipated shadow. Like all shadows, it is contingent to the form of an object and its relation to a source of light. Unlike most shadows, sometimes it goes its own way. In November 2021, Camila Malenchini invited me to contribute to a performance tombola in Dock11, Berlin, with a one on one performance. I developed this figure into a score that serves as the base for the piece. For the "voices" collection surrounding the exhibition "trust and confusion" in Taikwun Contemporary, Hong Kong (2021), I created an echoing sound piece to the performance. a Stroll, a Song, a Doubt, an Echo is part of my Togethering project. |
